I just thought I'd write about how we decided to go to Europe. 

As you may/may not be aware, I am OBSESSED with NYC.. Which originally, our honeymoon was to be a 5 week trip to the States. 

It was February this year, and we hadn't made any plans whatsoever for the trip... My best friend Alex came down from Brisbane for a visit and proceeded to tell us that her and her boyfriend Casey, had just booked their 5 week holiday to Europe.. and that we should come! 

Need I say more? 5 days later, our tickets were booked and paid for. 

I am truly excited to travel the world with these guys and can't wait to experience everything Europe has to bring with them!

PS. It's actually 25 days from today! Got a bit excited on Saturday and skipped a couple of days! DOH!

25 days to go... who's counting?

Im still very new at this, so bear with me while I get familiar with the ins and outs of 'blogging'.

Thought I would set this blog up so everyone can see what we get up to on our honeymoon!

Today was exciting, we bought our backpacks (only took us 3 hours to decide how many litres we needed!!! Who knew buying backpacks could be so complex?) Anyway, all that's left to do now is keep counting down the days until our much anticipated departure.

For those who aren't aware, we're going to Europe for 5 weeks. You read right, 5 weeks. Below are the destinations: (see map below)

No biggie.

Anyway, not much to write about seeing as we havent left yet, but at least our blog is set up and ready to keep all you amazing people up to date with our travel adventures.
